【摘要】:Thisguideestablishestheminimumstandardfortraininglandsearchteammembersasitrelatestotheirgeneral,field,andsearch-specificknowledge,skills,andexperience.ApersontrainedtothisguideisaLevelIIlandsearchteammember.EverypersonwhoisidentifiedasaLevelIIlandsearchteammembershallhavemettherequirementsofthisguide.ThisguideistobeusedbyindividualsandagencieshavingjurisdictionthatwishtoidentifytheminimumtrainingstandardsforLevelIIlandsearchteammembersItisuptotheAuthorityHavingJurisdiction(AHJ)todeterminethedepthordetailoftrainingtomeettheseneeds.NothinginthisstandardprecludesanAHJfromaddingadditionalrequirementsforitsownmembers.Thisguidebyitselfisnotatrainingdocument.ItisonlyanoutlineofthetopicsrequiredfortrainingorevaluatingaLevelIIlandsearchteammember,butitcanbeusedtodevelopatrainingdocumentorprogram.ThisguidedoesnotstandaloneandmustbeusedwiththereferenceddocumentstoprovidespecificinformationneededbyaLevelIIlandsearchteammemberorAHJ.ThisguidecanbeusedtoevaluateabookorotherdocumenttodetermineifitscontentmeetsthenecessarytopicsfortrainingaLevelIIlandsearchteammember.Likewise,theguidecanbeusedtoevaluateanexistingtrainingprogramtoseeifitmeetstherequirementsinthisguide.Theknowledgeandskillsrequirementspresentedinthefollowingsectionsarenotpresentedinanyparticularorderanddonotrepresentatrainingsequence.Exceptwhereaphysicalskillneedstobeshown,itisuptotheAHJ,instructor,evaluator,ortestertodeterminethebestwaytoevaluateapersonx2019;sknowledge.Thismaybebywrittenexam,oralexam,demonstration,orbysomecombinationofthethree.1.1ThisguideestablishestheminimumtrainingstandardforLevelIIlandsearchteammembersasitrelatestotheirgeneral,field,andsearch-specificknowledge,skills,andexperience.1.2ALevelIIlandsearchteammembersearchesonthesurfaceofthelandonly.Thisguidedoesnotprovidetheminimumtrainingrequirementsforsearchinginpartiallyorfullycollapsedstructures,inoronwater,inconfinedspaces,orunderground(suchascaves,mines,andtunnels).1.3ALevelIIsearchteammembercanbeutilizedas:afieldteamleader,asingleresourceforsigncutting,ahastysearcher,andtoestablishsegmentsinthefield.Noknots,rope,litter,orotherrescueskillsarerequiredofaLevelII.1.4LevelIIsearchteammembersareeligibletobemembersoftypeIIsearchteamsorcrewsasdefinedinClassificationF1993.1.5TypeIIteamswhichmayutilizepersonneltrainedtothisstandardareKindA(wilderness),KindB(urban),andKindC(mountainous).1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.1.7FurthertrainingmayberequiredbeforeaLevelIIlandsearchteammembercanactuallyparticipateonaparticularkindofsearchteam,dependingontheauthorityhavingjurisdictionsregulationsorpolicies.1.8Landsearchteammembersarecategorizedbylevelsinwhichleveloneisthebasicorentrancelevelandthenumbersincreaseastherequirementsincrease.
