【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesdimensionaltablesforexternalandinternalplasticflowinterference-fit(Class5)threadsofmodifiedNationalthreadforminthecoarsethreadseries(NC)insizes0.250in.through1.500in.ThisisnottheANSIB1.1UNthreadform.ItisintendedthatdesignsconformingwiththisStandardwillprovideadequatetorqueconditionswhichfallwithinthelimitsshowninTable8.Theminimumtorqueisintendedtobesufficienttoinsurethatexternallythreadedmemberswillnotlooseninservice,themaximumtorqueestablishesaceilingbelowwhichseizing,galling,ortorsionalfailureoftheexternallythreadedcomponentsisreduced.ThisStandardprovidesforthemaximumallowableinterference.AppendicesA,B,C,andDcontainusefulinformationthatissupplementarytothisStandard,suchasreprintsoftheobsoletetentativeandalternateClass5standards,USNavyshipspecificationsforelasticinterference-fitcoarsethreadseriesfrom0.250inthrough2.000in,USNavyshipspecificationsforClass5Modifiedwhichincludesnickel-copper-aluminumalloyexternalthreads,andaninterferencemetalcomparisonofstandardtononstandardinterference-fitthreads.
