【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirements,testmethods,andmaterialsfor4to36-in.diameterpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)corrugatedpipewithasmoothinterior.Thisprofilewallpipeconsistsofanoutercorrugatedwallfusedtoasmoothinnerwallprovidingpipestiffnesslevelsof46psiand115psi.Jointsandfittingsareincludedinthisspecification.Therequirementsofthisspecificationareintendedtoprovidepipeandfittingssuitableforundergrounduseinnonpressureapplicationsforsanitarysewers,stormsewers,andperforatedandunperforatedpipesforsubdrainage.Note1Industrialwastedisposallinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthecognizantcodeauthority,sincechemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersandtemperaturesinexcessof140?F(60?C)maybeencountered.PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Forperforatedpipeapplications,thesizeoftheembedmentzoneandpermeabilityoftheembedmentmaterialareimportanttothesystem'sabilitytoprovidethedesiredlevelofinfiltrationorexfiltration.Thegradationoftheembedmentmaterialmustbecompatiblewiththeperforationslotsizetoavoidbackfillmigrationintothepipe.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesprovidedinparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
