【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwolowvoltagetestsfordetectingandlocatingdefectsthatextendtothebasismetalinvitreousandporcelainenamelcoatings.MethodA(electrical)issuitablefortherapiddetectionanddeterminationofthegenerallocationofdefects.MethodB(optical),basedoncoloureffects,issuitableforthemoreprecisedetectionofdefectsandtheirexactlocations.MethodAiscommonlyappliedtoflatsurfaces,whereasmethodBispreferredformoreintricateshapes.NOTE1SelectionofthecorrecttestmethodiscriticaltodistinguishtheareasofincreasedconductivitydetectedbymethodBfromactualporesthatextendtothebasismetal,whichcanbedetectedbybothmethods.NOTE2Thelowvoltagetestisanon-destructivemethodofdetectingdefects(seeclause3)andtherefore,iscompletelydiffer-entfromthehighvoltagetestspecifiedinISO2746.Theresultsofhighandlowvoltagetestsarenotcomparableandwilldiffer.
